These two boys were so spoiled this summer! They played and played and played! Jill and I were worried it would be hard for them when school started because they'd be in shock from lack of play time like they were used to. ;) I'd say almost everyday either Andrew came to our house or Kolton went to Andrew's. It was so fun for them! The way summer should be spent!

Kolton's basketball coach asked me to take some pictures of all the kids on the team so that for their end of season party he could give all the kids player cards with their pictures on them. So for one of the games I sat and took hundreds of pictures to make sure we had a good one of each of the kids. Anyway, I was happy I did that because then I ended up with several good pictures of Kolton playing. He is just amazing. This particular game he had a boy on the other team that was really good and they were guarding each other. It was a challenge for Kolton both offensively and defensively and he stepped up and did great! It was good for him to be challenged, too, so that he could get better.
Bentley was so adorable sitting on Brady's lap just happy as can be with the basketball.
This kid with the red wrist band was the kid I was talking about earlier. He was super good, especially on defense.
July 11th was "Dress like a cow" day at Chick Fil A. If you dressed up you got free food. So, after the pool we rushed home and I put some clothes on real quick and we met Joni out in the parking lot and she painted Kolton's face for him. I wore a black and white dress just to see if that would qualify and sure enough Kolton got his kids meal free and I got my sandwich free. It was awesome! And Joni did an awesome job painting Kolton's face! It was too cute!
Here's a few random pictures of some fun summer activities. :)
Brady graduated from school in July with his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration!! Yay!! With his graduation and birthday money he bought himself an AR-15. He had been wanting one for quite some time and with rumors that they might be banned from being purchased here in the states he figured he better jump on it and get it. He loves it and thinks it is so fun to shoot!
We try and take naps every Sunday after church but sometimes Bentley doesn't have it. Haha. Most of the time he is ready to go down right when we get home (or falls asleep in the car on the way home) and so then by the time I get changed and fall asleep he wakes up within 5 minutes. Haha. So then I get to spend some quality one on one time with him out in the living room while everyone else sleeps. :)
The end of July I went in to see Jeff for a check up and cleaning. I ended up getting two cavities filled while I was there. Jeff showed me an xray of my mouth though, and pointed out that I still had a couple of my wisdom teeth roots. I couldn't believe the doctor left them in there when I got them removed and I wonder why he did. Kind of interesting.
We went swimming at the Orrs pool and I got bit/stung by some random black bug. It swelled up pretty good and was super itchy and a little painful but it went away eventually.
This was the sweetest morning. Bentley was just playing with toys and then scooted on over to me and fell asleep in my arms. It was so sweet. I had to just lay there and let him sleep on me even though I needed to shower and get ready. :)
I believe this was the same morning. Kolton took my phone and later I found tons of pictures he took of himself making funny faces. They were cracking me up. He is such a ham. I love it.
They finished building Little River Park on 4th street so one evening for FHE we headed over there to play. The boys were too cute swinging together. I had to take a picture. :)
Kolton got to stay up super late one night so he could go with Brady to pick up Dylen from the airport. Dylen flew in late Friday night and then he and Brady's parents and Madison left the next morning to go to Florida. Dylen was going to be flying back to Utah before we got home from Utah so we wanted him to be able to see him. He thought it was pretty cool he got to stay up so late. We even ate Hideaway pizza with Dylen before he went home.
That next morning we stained our fence. It looks awesome and we love it! It ended up taking WAY longer than we thought and WAY WAY more money than we thought but at least it looks awesome and this will protect it and keep it looking nice longer. Kolton even got to help spray it on and it got all over him (and us as we did it too). We had to go to the store to buy more stain and Kolton looked so filthy so we took a picture to show him. He thought it was pretty funny.
