Super Kids Day

On the 19th we finally made our way to Bahama Bucks.  It opened up down the street from us probably a month or so before that but the lines to that place were HUGE! So we waited for the hype to die down a bit and then went to go check it out.  We had to make sure our favorite worker (Pamela Fabela) was there too! :)

Friday, the 20th, was Kolton's super kids day.  I volunteered to help set things up and then somehow got roped into running the obstacle course.  I came so that I could go around with Kolton so I was kind of bummed I was stuck running a station but it was ok.  I got to see Kolton when he came to my game.  :) I had the obstacle course.  The kids seemed to like it!

We went to Crest that evening and got a cake.  Brady wanted more icing on it so I thought "we could have them write on it and that would give us a little more!" haha so I asked the lady to write "Congratulations" on it. She said that wouldn't fit so I said "How about 'Congrats Boys'?" Haha.  So we brought home a cake that said "Congrats Boys" for no reason and ate it all up.  :) Good times.

Kolton's Award Ceremony at School

I just love it when I find selfies like this from Bentley on my phone.  Makes me laugh every time.

I don't know why I like this picture so much but I love it.  Its not a great picture by any means but I love that both boys are sitting there watching the Thunder game and you know Brady was there too because you can see his toes in the bottom.  Haha.  We are raising our boys right and to love watching the Thunder and the Sooners! :)
One morning Bentley was reading me a story and had his arm wrapped around my neck really tight.  I loved it as he squeezed my neck and told me his own version of the story in the book.
I went to the volunteer luncheon on the 17th of May that the teachers and staff put on at Kolton's school and Bentley loved it.  Then we headed to the library to return some books and play and he had the best time! I love how his hair is not fixed down the middle of his head but instead goes diagonal.  Haha.
Kolton had his program and awards ceremony at his school on the 18th of May.  This kid cleaned house!! He was the only kid in 2nd grade to get top 3 in every subject and then got the trophy for the most AR points in his class.  He just amazes me and we were so proud of him!  He had a speaking part in the program too and did awesome! He did not want one but his teacher and I convinced him to do it and he did and he did great.  Afterwards he said it wasn't that bad.  If only he'd remember that come next year! Haha.

Bentley fell asleep during the program and it was perfect! Haha.  My arms were super tired by the end but it was worth it so he wasn't fighting me to play and run around! :)

Kolton is one special little boy and we sure are lucky to have him in our family.

The Rest of our Utah Trip

The boys slept in my parent's room once Brady got there.  I went to go check on them and found Bentley off of the mattress, on the floor, sleeping on one of my dad's shoes.  It was too funny.

Saturday morning Brady went and got everyone more french toast from Kneaders because...why not?! Haha.  We then went to Korver's soccer game.  It was so cute to watch him play.  He has so much personality!

After his game we went to a place called Sodacrazy I think to celebrate Derek's birthday.  You can get different ice cream and soda flavors with all sorts of add in flavors.  It was yummy!

That evening Tyler and Shalyse, Derek and Lizzie, Maddi and Taylor and Dylen, and Shana and Kit, and my cousin Naomi and her family, and my aunt Jackie all came over for a barbeque and to hang out.  It was a blast.  We played and ate and had a good time.

Two sacked out cuties after a long week of tons of fun and play.
Sunday we went to church and then came home and got ready to leave.  Kolton played one last game of pool with Grandma and then we headed to the airport.

Our seats weren't together on our flight back and so we tried to get them to change them but they wouldn't.  So we just had to get on the plane and hope people would trade us.  Luckily they did so Kolton was able to sit next to me.  He and I sat next to each other for about half the flight while Bentley said with Brady and then we switched.  Oh my gosh it is 100 times better to fly with Brady than by myself.  It is just so much less stressful and so much more relaxing knowing there is someone else there to help with things.  I loved it.
We had such a great time out in Utah.  It was so awesome that Brady was able to come too.  It is always sad to say good bye.
