Happy Halloween! (Not that this post has anything to do with Halloween...)

Well, here is one more picture from when my dad came. I love how Kolton is looking up at him.

I thought I would put these on here becuase I don't have very many pictures of Kolton and I posted. This is Kolton and I on Halloween (today) before I got him dressed. We went out Trick-or-Treating with our friends Shana and Kit and their whole family. It was fun, even though we didn't really take Kolton trick-or-treating (he's a little too young). Walking around with friends was fun and it let me get one more use out of his costume!
This is from the other night. I took a turn to read Kolton his bedtime story.

"It's Always Fun When Grandpa Comes...

When Grandpa Comes, Hooray!"

Yesterday my dad came to visit us (well, mainly Kolton). Kolton, as shy as he is, didn't know what to think of him. It was kind of funny. But, he started warming up and would play with him and sit next to him by the end of the night (he wouldn't let him hold him though...just sit next to him). It was fun, we just wish he could have seen him more. Next time! :)

(Well, no other photos will upload right now...I don't know why. I'll probably try again later, but for now, enjoy!)

Halloween Play Group

Here is the group picture we took! Yay for Halloween!

Today was a Halloween play group with the dental student wives (who are so nice to invite me!). We decided it would be fun to dress all the kids up in their Halloween costumes and take a picture. That was fun! At some point, every single kid was screaming! It was hilarious!
Below, there is Kade (horse), Kolton (turtle), Tucker (cow), Ross (zebra), and Troy (dinosaur). Atticus (dentist) is sitting on the floor. It was pretty funny!

Below is a short little video of all the kids crying. The last scream you hear is Kolton's. Oh what a fun day! :)

Weekend Adventures

We had a fun weekend!

On Friday night we went to the Oklahoma City Blazers hockey game. We got there as it started and as we were walking down the stairs to our seats all the lights went out and the announcer screamed "ARE YOU READY?" and so Kolton flipped and Brady had to run out with him. It probably doesn't help that he is teething bad and is running a fever (poor guy). I can't wait for that darn tooth to come in! Anyway, we had fun at the hockey game!

Kolton and I at the hockey game.

Kolton and Brady stopped at a cross-walk walking back to our car.

Saturday night was our ward's Halloween party. We weren't able to make it until it was time for the trunk-or-treating, but we were excited to be able to go! Here's a picture of Kolton at the Hurlbut's van.

Tonight we carved Kolton's pumpkin. We decided to make it have 4 teeth like him (hopefully 5 here in the next day!). Anyway, Brady did most of the work. It was fun though! Can't wait for years to come as Kolton gets older and we have traditions like this! Showing Kolton the inside of the pumpkin.

Brady slaving away.

Kolton's jack-o-lantern! Yeah for Halloween!

Laughing

Last night Kolton was cracking up every time I came near him. Now of course by the time you get the camera out, things slow down a bit, but he was still laughing a ton! It was fun! Sometimes Kolton just gets in these moods where you can do just about anything and he thinks it is the funniest thing in the world (like most kids I'm sure). Laughing with your child has to be one of the most fun things to do!

Turtle, Turtle

Yesterday I decided to take pictures of Kolton in his Halloween costume. I really should have waited until our ward Halloween party when his costume would be complete, but I couldn't wait. So, I'll probably post more pictures later with a cuter background and a few finishing touches to the costume, but until then here is our little turtle! :)

Kisses

Today has been a normal day of playing with Kolton, cleaning house, hanging out with friends, going to Walmart (crazy, huh?)...and taking pictures of Kolton!

I love my son! I love being a mom for him! He woke up really happy, so I decided to take some pictures!
This is my son's really confused face! Don't you love the drool on the bottom lip? Yummy! ;)
And yes, he already reads the scriptures! Amazing! (Just kidding...he was playing with them so I opened them up and thought I'd snap a picture!)

Recently, if you make the "kissing" sound, Kolton will make the same sound. He doesn't pucker up, but he thinks it is pretty cool he can make the same sound!

Visits from Utah!

My mom and sister Cambrea came to visit us this past week! It was so much fun! Kolton really liked playing with them! We went to the park and to the play place at the mall. They also watched Kolton for 7 hours for us to go to the OU vs Kansas game yesterday! We had a blast at the game and Kolton had fun playing with his grandma and aunt while we were gone! It was a fun week!

Sacked Out

Friday night we had dinner with the Foys and the missionaries. Afterwards, the boys wanted to play Xbox, so Brady and Sterling left with Kolton and went to our house. About 20 minutes later, Brittney, Kade, and I joined them. When I came home I went to feed Kolton his bottle and he completely sacked out. Apparently we've been keeping him up too late or something!
Kolton loves to play with the dogs, especially with Sugar and her toys. He loves to climb all over her and give her her toys. So, here are a few pictures of them playing together. Sugar is so patient with him, she pretty much lets him do whatever he wants!

TIRED!

Every night Kolton gets a bottle before he goes to bed. Once he's finished Brady will read him his story and then we'll put him to bed. Well, tonight he did not get his story...

I came walking out into the living room and this is how I found him (his bottle is underneath him). Poor guy!

Hanging Around

OK, I know this will probably scare you, but look what Kolton can do! He's so strong!

Saturday Night

This past Saturday, while Brady was at the priesthood session I decided go get Kolton's Halloween outfit. Now, picking out his outfit was really hard for me to do! But, I decided to go with the turtle, since he tends to look like one sometimes! :)

Also, I decided to let him play in the play area at the mall, even though he is a little small, he loves to be with other little kids so I thought this would be a good opportunity. He really liked it!

Duck Pond

During Brady's break yesterday we went to the duck pond in Norman right there by campus. It was so fun to wach Kolton react to how crazy the ducks get! He even got to feed them himself! It was definitely worth that $0.92 we spent on the bread!!! (Sorry mom...we didn't get any pictures of the three of us...)
