Got an image of Kolton's school pictures. He is just so darn handsome!! He is just the perfect boy. I'm always getting little notes and texts from his teacher saying just how much she loves him and how he is always so great. I love it! I surprised Kolton the day he got his pictures taken with lunch from Chick fil A. He thought it was so cool I came to eat with him and was so excited when he saw Bentley and I!
Started buying food to fill those shelves! :)
Oh Mr. Bentley. Haha. I was making dinner and he loves to take the candy out of the bowl and put it back in so I gave him the bowl of candy. I started hearing smacking noises, turned around, and found that he had opened a tootsie roll and was going to town. :) It was too cute!
Kolton had red ribbon week and got to dress up each day. This particular day was wacky Wednesday and so you were supposed to wear crazy clothes and crazy hair. Kolton wore his clothes inside out and backwards and mismatched socks and then we spiked all his hair and sprayed it blue.
After school every day Kolton spends about 45 minutes playing basketball before it is time to come in and do homework before dinner. He got a popsicle one afternoon and Bentley followed him around begging him for a bite. :)
Wednesday, the 29th, we had the ward Halloween Party. We went a little late and showed up a few minutes before the costume parade and trunk or treating part. Kolton thought it was fun to go across the stage. :)
Brady sat and passed out candy at our trunk and I took Kolton, Bentley, and Andrew around. The boys had matching Bumblee costumes. After we went around they sat in our trunk (with the Himes girls too) and starting chowing down on their candy. :)
Bentley decided he needed more Froot Loops one morning. Haha.
Seriously, this morning, Kolton was playing basketball outside in shorts, short sleeved shirt, and flip flops in 40 degree weather! He's crazy!! Its a battle everyday to get him to wear a jacket or appropriate cold weather attire.
Thursday, the 30th, Brady had his follow up appointment with the Dr. They took of his cast and put him in a boot. I was not expecting his incision to be so long! It was all pretty crazy looking! I think she said he had 11 stitches that they had to take out. But they said it all looked good. The doctor said to come back in 4 weeks and they will do another x-ray and make sure everything looks good and then if it does he'll be able to start to put some weight on it. Unfortunately when we went to make the appointment, we found out that 4 weeks was Thanksgiving week and so he had to make his appointment for the next week. So, now he has to wait 5 weeks before even starting to put some weight on it.
Halloween I made these little spider donuts and brought them to Kolton's class in the afternoon. Another mom was there too and we passed out all our treats and the kids had fun eating and chatting. They all thought the spiders were so cool (even though some of them only had 6 legs because I was running out of time to make them all haha).
That night I made a couple of "Halloween" things for dinner. We had mummy dogs, Frankenstein grape cups, skeleton jello, and blood punch with spiders in it. I found all ideas on Pinterest. :) Kolton absolutely loved it and kept saying how cool it was!!
That night we just went down our street and Kolton almost filled his bucket half way. We then headed home and told him he could pass out candy to whoever came to our house. He loved that! Probably more than trick or treating!
Bentley made quite a mess with the candy bowl over and over and over. :)
Brady and I watched a video online and it had this quote in it. We really liked it!
Sunday we went to the Brammer's house for dinner. Kolton got twister out and Bentley tried to join him. It was cute!
I also got a new calling on Sunday. I am the camp director for the young women. This year the stake decided to have each ward do their own so there is actually a lot of work that needs to be done! I'm nervous but excited to do it!
I had some errands to run in Norman and one of them was at the mall. I let Bentley play in the play place for his first time. He loved loved loved it! He was so cute out there!
Haha, this is funny to me. The Thunder are struggling having healthy players that aren't injured. We have 8 players that aren't hurt. It is crazy!
I loved this little note Kolton left for me. :) "We need to get me some more church socks." I kept forgetting to get them every week so he thought he'd leave me a note so I can remember.
Bentley discovered the drawer where we keep the plastic silverware, plates, straws etc. He empties it several times a day! Its like he sees that I've cleaned it up and goes straight for it so he can empty it again.
Sweet sleeping Bentley! He has been struggling lately with his happiness and sleeping (which I'm sure are related). He wakes up several times a night and takes short little naps only to then fall asleep on me. I don't know what is going on with him. Hopefully we can fix it soon though so we can all be happier! :)
