Wednesday we went to the park with Lizzie and Korver. Kolton LOVES Korver and Korver LOVES Kolton. He tries to eat and kiss him any time Kolton gets near. :) Kolton loved playing at the park, swinging and going down slides.

Kolton really wanted to take Korver down the slide with him. Unfortunately the slides were really hot, but Kolton still loved being able to take his cousin down the slide.

Kolton even got to help Tyler fly his remote control helicopter. He thought that was so cool. His favorite part was making it fly really close to us spectators. ;)

Wednesday and Thursday nights Cambrea had dance recitals so we got to go watch her. It was so fun to watch her! She's awesome! And her dances are really cool too.
One of the dances that her company does is a huge Alice one. Cambrea is one of the cards. Its really cool to watch. They stay in character so well and never break their concentration.

This is from her hip-hop routine. I love watching hip-hop. Its so cool!

Friday we lounged all morning with Derek, Lizzie and Korver. Derek wanted to take Kolton fishing so we went fishing that afternoon. We didn't catch anything, but still had fun. ;) The second the line was cast in the water Kolton would ask if they had caught anything. After a few attempts he said, "Maybe we could catch a duck." Haha.

Kolton had to take a potty break while fishing. Tyler took a picture. Makes me laugh. ;) He was very concerned about people watching him. Everyone had to turn around and not watch.

Saturday we decided to hike Adam's Canyon. We thought it would be fun to do a little hike and this one takes you to a waterfall. Its really cool too because you walk along the water for a lot of it. We didn't realize how long the hike was, however. :) This was at the beginning where you just walk back and forth up the mountain until you get back to the water.

Here's "Adam."

This is how close you are to the water. There are some parts where you have to either walk in the water or climb over big rocks to get past. It was so cool! Kolton did so good! I thought he was going to peter out about 30 minutes in but he stayed strong and was leading us all for a lot of it! Some parts made him nervous, though. He didn't like when we had to climb over rocks or walk on these skinny strips of land to get through. One time my dad went out in to the water to stand on a rock and the rock kind of shifted and Kolton flipped out! He wanted grandpa to come back. It really scared him because he thought he was going to fall. It was so sweet. ;)

As we were hiking up we kept asking people who were going back down how much longer until we reached the top just so we had an idea. I swear everyone said 45 minutes to an hour or more. Every time we asked. It was always the same! How could we have just hiked 30 minutes and not have gotten any closer to the top?! :) We stopped and had a snack at this "picnic" area.

Tyler and Grandpa would help Kolton cross the hard parts. Tyler usually opted for just walking in the water.

Here we are on the way back down. We never did make it to the top of the waterfall. We hiked to this bridge (a log going across the water with wood planks on it) and then went back down. We were told that he top was about 20 or so minutes from that bridge but that it was the most treacherous part of the hike and having Kolton (and us old people who are out of shape) we decided not to try and just go back down. It was a fun and beautiful hike, though, and I'm so glad we did it!

On Sunday Kolton went to all of Primary! I was so surprised! I figured he would go to singing and sharing time because Grandma is the singing time leader but I thought for sure he'd be going to Relief Society with me. When I took him to Primary he was really hesitant but when he saw Grandma he was fine. After sunday school I went out in the hall to go get him if need be. Grandma took him to class and then had Tyler sit in there with him for a few minutes and then Tyler left but Kolton stayed. Yay!! ;)

On Monday Kolton helped Grandma and Grandpa build a storage cabinet for the garage.

We then went to Derek and Lizzie's for a barbeque. It was really rainy on Monday which makes for a bummy Memorial Day. We had fun at Derek and Lizzie's house though! Kolton fell alseep on the way there. He has probably taken 2 or 3 real naps since being here. Every other day he falls asleep in the car or on my lap. If we are in the car in the afternoon, it is pretty much a guarantee he'll fall asleep. ;)

When we had a stop in the rain Derek and Tyler made a campfire in the backyard and we roasted mashmallows and ate smores. Kolton wasn't really interested in the smores. He just kept wanting to roast the mashmallows. He liked putting them in the fire.

It got a little smoky sometimes, though, and so he'd cover his eyes and try and put it in the fire. Haha.

Tuesday Kolton and I went down to Provo to see Jaycee and Adam and their new baby, Landon. We were there for 3 or 4 hours and it was great to be able to meet Landon. He had just come home from the hospital the day before, but was almost a week old. We got to take some pictures of him too! Kolton had a lot of fun playing with Adam at the playground right by their house and with Grandma Brammer as well.
After we left Jaycee and Adam's we went to Shana and Kit's new place in Provo. We only stayed for about an hour but it was good to visit with them!
