Carter's blessing

On Sunday, the 21st, we went to Norman for Carter's baby blessing.

Afterwards we went to the Brammers to eat dinner and hang out.
On July 25th I went to the doctor because I had been having contractions and cramping and wanted to make sure everything was ok.  My cervix was still closed and thick so everything was fine.  They measured my belly and it was measuring 24 weeks.  Baby's heartbeat was at 164 bpm.  Starting from that appointment, Dr. Miller wanted to see me every 2 weeks.

Celebrating Mom's birthday

On Wednesday, the 17th, mom and I babysat Kover and Chloe while Lizzie when to a wedding.  After they got back some of us left and did some shopping because we were celebrating mom's birthday that day.

After shopping and presents, us girls went and got pedicures.  Love getting my feet scrubbed on!
After pedicures we met up with the boys at Zupas and had dinner.
Then we went home for some cheesecake! Yum yum!

I was glad we were able to celebrate her birthday before we left.  On Thursday we headed to Derek and Lizzie's so I could see Chloe's room and spend a little more time with them and then came home and got ready to fly out.  We landed in OKC late Thursday night.  It was a fun trip.  Kolton already keeps asking when we can go back.  :)

Swimming

On Tuesday, the 16th of July, we went swimming! Kolton couldn't wait to go down the slides! I love that he can swim now! Its so much fun to see him experience all these things that he couldn't before.

After much convincing and talking it up, we got him to jump off of the diving board.  He ended up really liking it (like we knew he would) and did it several times.  One time he tried to do a spin off of it and somehow his body got sideways and he landed all weird in the water.  He wasn't a fan of that so he told me that he wasn't going to do anymore tricks...just jump off of it.  I was fine with that.  :) Just glad he tried and found out it wasn't so bad!

He seriously is a goofball.  I don't know what else to call him.  The faces he makes.  Haha.

When we got home from swimming Shawn made a campfire real quick and we roasted some hotdogs for dinner.  Then we quickly made some peanut butter cup smores.  Oh my goodness.  So so good! Then it started to rain, though, so we had to head inside.  :)  It was a fun day!

Boondocks

Sweet little boy sleeping. :)
Snapped a picture of me at 22 weeks while we were there! Monday, the 15th!
Monday evening we went to Boondocks as a family.  Kolton was so super excited!! He got enough tickets (with help from Shawn, T, and Cam) to get himself a snake that he was pretty excited about.

 Putt-putt! :)
They also did the bumper boats.  I was a little worried Kolton might have a hard time moving it around and also squirting people but he did an awesome job! He didn't have any problems moving that thing around and loved bumping into people.

Derek most definitely got the most wet! :) I had fun watching from the side and cheering everyone on. :)
Just a couple pictures of Kolton being silly while eating his breakfast.  He is such a goofball.

Fireworks

After they played jacks Kolton got Tyler to go outside and shoot some hoops with him.  Tyler worked with Kolton on some "plays" and they did that for a while.  Shawn and Grandpa joined in after a while too.

We ate CafĂ© Rio that night for dinner.
Saturday I worked on the blog book a lot.  Kolton went with Grandma, Lizzie, Korver, and Chloe to Artic Circle for lunch.  He also got to go to the store with Shawn and loved that he got to use a little cart.  :) Cam also came home from trek that afternoon.  It was fun to hear all that she experienced.
That night, when going to bed, Kolton rolled over and asked me what you say "for someone to marry you." He then asked me what Brady said to me to ask me to marry him and then asked which of my rings is most special to me.  It was cute.  I enjoyed telling him about it.
Sunday Cam gave a talk in sacrament meeting.  She did a really good job! Kolton was really nervous to go to primary but in the end he loved it.  We took a nap after church and then skyped with Brady! Yay! :)

Kolton built this awesome tower out of dominoes.  He thought it was pretty sweet.
That night we went to fireworks in Ogden.  We found a spot to sit really close to the fireworks.  Kolton was scared at first and covered his ears but then realized it really wasn't that bad and then relaxed and laid down and just watched them.
