Bentley's Blessing

Bentley was blessed on Sunday, January 19th, 2014.  He had the absolute cutest blessing outfit! I just love it!!

Brady blessed him and it was such a sweet blessing.  My mom wrote it down for us:
Bentley August Brammer.
Bentley, at this time I give you a special blessing.
Bless you that throughout your life you will be comforted and peaceful.
Bless you with the strength needed to stand in holy places even in hard times.
Bless you with a special spirit to be a good leader and friend to those around you.
Bentley, you are truly loved by those in you home, your extended family, and your ward family.
Bentley, bless you to know that our Savior loves you and He's paid the ultimate sacrifice for you and others.  Bless you to be a good example, to share the gospel, and when the time is right to serve a mission and touch many lives.
Bless you that you will find a special sweetheart and take her to the temple to be married for eternity.
Bless you to be strong and healthy throughout your life and with the strength you need to fulfill the responsibilities Heavenly Father has for you.
Bentley, know that you are loved.

Oh I'm so glad they could be there!
 Our family.
Everyone that came to support Bentley.
 The Storeys.
 My family.
 The Brammer family.
 The Foys.
 Mark Himes.
The men that participated in the blessing:
Adam Stevens, Tyler Moffett, Shawn Moffett, Grandpa Moffett, Brady, Mark Himes, Jeff Brammer, Grandpa Brammer, Sterling Foy.
After church we all went to the Brammers and ate lunch.  It was so great to hang out with everyone and eat yummy food! I'm so glad the Foys came!! We sure do miss having them around but it was great to see them!

Monday was a holiday so Brady had it off.  We watched the movie Frozen and then headed outside to play some basketball.  I even joined in! It was fun! :)

After basketball we had to take my family back to the airport.  It was so sad! Its so hard when family leaves after visiting.  We had such a great time with them here, though, and were so happy they came.  It was a great weekend!

Bentley's Blessing Weekend

Bentley went in for his two month appointment on the 13th and had to get shots.  It was so so sad!  The doctor also put him on some acid reflux medicine (Axid) to hopefully make him more comfortable and not be in pain while eating.
He weighed 11 lbs 10 oz and was 23.5 inches long.
He was pretty whiney that evening so we gave him some tylenol and I nursed him several times just for comfort.

On Friday afternoon we met up with the Foys who came to town for Bentley's blessing! We met at Journey Church and let the kids play then we stopped by Brady's work so Brady could see everyone and then we went to Chick Fil A for lunch! It was so cute when Kolton and Kade saw each other! They went running to each other and gave each other the biggest hug! It was so sweet!

Friday evening we drove to the airport to pick up my family who also came for the blessing!! I'm so glad they were able to come!! Brady met us there after work so we'd have enough seats for everyone.  We were excited to meet Shalyse (Tyler's fiance) and hang out with everyone for the weekend.  My dad, mom, Shawn, Tyler, and Shalyse came.  Derek and Lizzie had to work and Cam can't miss any practices for dance so she couldn't come.  We then went to Cracker Barrel for dinner.  We tried to go to Bricktown for dinner but it was crazy there (there was a Thunder game) so we decided to head away from all the traffic :) and go to Cracker Barrel.  After dinner we went to my parent's hotel and Kolton swam with Shawn, Tyler, and Shalyse.

Tyler, Shawn, and Shalyse stayed the night at Brady's parents house with us and my parents stayed at the hotel.  Kolton stayed at the hotel with Grandma and Grandpa as well.  The next morning we dropped Brady off at work and headed to the hotel to eat breakfast together.

After that we headed to Norman to go see my old house we lived in growing up in Norman on Outpost Circle and then we played at the park that is right there behind our house.

After that we went and picked Brady up, ate lunch, went and looked out our house that was being built and looked at a few other houses that Brandon was building to show my family what colors and stuff we were going to pick for things and then we went bowling.  Kolton loved it! It was glow bowling so it was even cooler!

We also went to Sams Club and Walmart that afternoon and evening to pick up all the things we needed for the lunch the next day after Bentley's blessing.  We hung around the house and Kolton put a puzzle together with his uncles and aunt and Grandma.  It was such a fun day!
