Brady and I have always known we were lucky to be parents to this kid but it is becoming more and more apparent as he gets older. He truly is someone special. He has such a strong desire to do what is right and is so worried and concerned about other's feelings and making sure everyone has a friend. He is well-behaved and does what is expected of him. We get emails and texts and messages from teachers and leaders telling us how amazing he is and how obedient and kind and smart he is. There really is just something amazing about him. Not even talking about how athletically talented he is...that is a whole other story! He recently has started liking to read more and has been loving reading about different kinds of airplanes and about space. He is doing awesome on his A.R. tests and rocking 2nd grade so far! We just love him.

Bentley
One morning Bentley wanted to play outside with some cars. He asks me every day if we can go outside. He loves it out there. Some days I oblige more than others depending on the weather. This morning it was beautiful out there. He grabbed the bin of cars and kept telling me to "watch." I love the way he says "watch." Its almost more like "wash" and the way his little mouth moves to say it is just precious. He is talking more and more these days and just seems so grown up to me sometimes. We have said this for a long time and it is still true today, when he's in the mood to be sweet, he is absolutely the sweetest, most well mannered 22 month-old boy you'll meet. (Flip side is, when he's not...he's not...haha) Seriously, though, he says "thank-you" and "sorry" like no one's business. Its adorable.
Maddi's OK Reception
Maddi went through the temple on the last Friday of August here in Oklahoma. It was nice she did that here so we could be there for it. Taylor's parents came too so we were able to meet them as well. Then they had their reception the next night.
Just a few pictures from the reception Taylor and Maddi had here in Oklahoma. It was nice to have Brady at this reception to help with the kiddos and have someone to talk to. ;)
This is how the guys (and probably everyone felt) by the time the reception was beginning to end. Haha.

End of Summer Party and 1st Day of School
Here are some pictures from my camera from Kolton's little last minute party he had with some friends. He had an absolute blast! It was fun to watch him have fun with his friends.
Kolton ended up reinjuring his hip at the party so I made an appointment for him to see the doctor the following week. Turns out he had torn the muscle that attaches to the pelvic bone and had twisted his pelvis pretty significantly. We had him adjusted and he had some electrotherapy done a few times. He also had some exercises he was supposed to do at home to strengthen that muscle. He wasn't allowed to ride his scooter, jump on the trampoline, or play soccer or anything that exerts a lot of energy. Just last week (the middle of September) he was able to go back to soccer practice. Still can't jump on the trampoline or ride his scooter though.
And then here are a few pictures from the first day of school. These boys are so cute.
And then here are a few pictures from the first day of school. These boys are so cute.
And every year we have to get a picture of his new shoes. Haha. I love it.
He is such a sweet boy and has really enjoyed the 2nd grade which makes me so happy!

Florida, First Day of School, Wedding Receptions, Grandma Came to Visit
Brady's dad asked Kolton to clean out all the garbage from their creek while they were gone at Dylen's wedding so that when they got back and had the reception it would be done. Oh man, that was a lot of work! Haha. And he really couldn't do it very well if the garbage was far in the creek so I had to do it and then drop it on the ground and he would pick it up and put it in the garbage can. He got to learn some hard work! :)
While preparing for the reception, as well as other things, I braved 9 stores with these two cute boys!! They were actually pretty good but I was exhausted! Their favorite stop was definitely Target because I surprised them with popcorn and an ice. Haha.
We've had a few cooler mornings this summer so it has been nice to go out on a bike ride. One morning Kolton came out all dressed up so cute for our bike ride...I just had to take a picture.
Dylen and Cheyanna's reception here in Oklahoma was on Tuesday night so I had to go by myself because Brady couldn't miss school. He had to present a case study that night so there was no getting out of it. It was a great night celebrating the two of them and I loved being able to chat with Cheyanna more. We were ready to go home and go to bed, though, when it was done. Haha.
Friday, July 31st, we left right when Brady got home from work and started our drive to Destin. I will do another post about that trip another time when I get all my pictures off of the camera and the go pro camera but these are all from my phone. Friday I spent the day getting everything ready for the trip and packing everything up so that we could leave right when he got home. We even packed a dinner so we wouldn't have to stop for dinner or anything. We planned on driving about 5 hours that night to Shreveport, LA.
Bentley would not fall asleep once we got to the hotel (at like 11:30---we hit a lot of traffic) but sure did want to sleep in the next morning.
Kolton was the same way, haha, but Brady and I were ready to hit the road.
The boys loved the breakfast that morning. I always love that about staying in a hotel as well...such a variety of things to eat for breakfast and you don't have to make any of it. Haha.
We tried to make as little stops as possible and did really well at that. We only stopped for gas and lunch. We ate at Chick fil a so that the kids could play for a while and get some energy out. It was fun!
We FINALLY made it to Destin as the sun was going down. We decided to walk down to the beach anyway and see if we could catch some crabs.
Sunday we went to church at a ward building there in Destin. We took naps and barbequed some dinner.
Monday we started the trip off with a stop at the Donut Hole. Its pretty well-known and the line is pretty long to get a donut. We ended up getting chased by bees and had to run around and then jump in the car real quick to keep them from coming in the car after us. I have to admit it was kinda scary.
We then hit the beach around 9:30 or so. Bentley hated it...the sand the water...everything. So I sat with him under the umbrella and let him take a nap.
Kolton, however, LOVED it!!
There were big schools of fish (those dark areas in the ocean behind Kolton) that would wash up on shore sometimes. Kolton picked one up and threw it back in. He was pretty proud of himself for picking it up and I was too!
After Bentley's nap he was a little more agreeable and would sit on his own and eat a fruit snack.
We ended up taking him out there in the water and he liked it a little when Brady was holding him.
Tuesday we rented a pontoon boat and some seadoos. That was a lot of fun. I even actually drove one, which surprises me because that just makes me nervous, and I loved it!
Poor Brady forgot to put sunscreen on his legs and feet that day and burned the heck out of himself. It was so sad! He also lost his sunglasses when he fell off the seadoo. We went to the outlet mall that night and bought him a new pair.
Wednesday was our 10 year anniversary!!! 10 years!!! We got to go out to dinner while Brady's parents watched the kids. We went to Longhorn Steakhouse. Brady is seriously my most favorite person to be with. Not even exaggerating. When I am not with him, all I do is count down the hours until he will be home. He wrote the sweetest thing to me on Facebook. This is what it said:
I love soccer, I love basketball, I love football, I love sports in general, I love watching TV, I love eating ice cream, I love hunting, I love buying new things, I love fast cars and jacked up trucks, I love guns and ammo, I love beaches and boats, I love a lot of things but all combined they don't add up to how much I love you. Jennifer Moffett Brammer thank you for our first decade. Can't wait for many more. Happy Anniversary Beautiful!
I just love reading that. What a sweet message!! I'm a lucky girl to be married to him.
Bentley loves to watch videos on phones or look at pictures. Grandpa figured out he could lure him in with his phone. Haha.
Jordan worked ALL week to get Bentley to like him and he finally did the second to last day there!
Kolton and Reese were little buddies. Kolton loved playing all sorts of games and video games with her. I was happy he had a friend to play with.
The second to last day we were in Florida, Brady stayed at the house with Bentley while he napped. I went to the beach with Kolton. The waves were pretty big but we were having a good time. I would hold onto his board with every wave and it was a blast. All of a sudden, though, Kolton starts screaming bloody murder. Like seriously, for real, the most hysterical scream I've ever heard him do. People all over the beach were trying to figure out what happened. He starts yelling to me "Get it off! Get it off!" He later explained that he felt like claws were in his skin. Poor guy got stung by a jellyfish. It is really hard to see it in the pictures but it was under his armpit and then came around onto his chest. A lady that was there came over to us and told us to put lemon juice on it. She also said it looked like he got stung by a pretty big one by the look of the marks. Poor kid. So we headed home and luckily had a lemon there and cut it up and squeezed the juice out of it and then laid some of the slices on there. Once Kolton got over the initial shock and pain of it all, he was actually quite tough and brave.
A quick little family picture. I just love this family of mine.
Thursday Brady and I also went parasailing. We had originally scheduled it to be on Wednesday but there was a storm that morning so they moved us to Thursday. It was so fun and such a cool experience! We told them that we'd like our calves to get a little wet on the way in but the boat hit a bump as they were dipping us and we ended up getting pretty darn wet! Haha. It was still super fun, though!
Brady and I snuck off to get some marble slab one night. Man, I love that stuff!
Friday morning we went to the Donut Hole one more time and got real breakfast food this time (and got donuts to-go haha). I just got some pancakes and they were yummy! Kolton got a kid's pancake and it was huge!
Friday night we went to the Boathouse for dinner. It was a seafood restaurant that was literally on a boat on the water. It was a really laid-back place and fun. They had music playing that Bentley loved dancing to so that was cute!
We stopped by another restaurant on the way home to grab some pina coladas! Yum!!
The drive home was hard! Haha. It seemed forever long!
We did stop by the Duck Commander store and Kolton and Brady each got hats and Brady got a duck call so he was excited about that.
We got home Sunday and it felt good!! Unpacked and got to just relax for the evening. The boys got back to their usual Sunday evening wrestling and they couldn't have been happier.
The following Tuesday, Kolton had his first soccer practice of the season. He was pretty excited!!
Next morning we went on a bike ride to a park in the neighborhood across the street. I love this picture of Kolton pushing Bentley on the swing! I think it is adorable!!
We then headed to Frontier City with Vanessa and her kids. It was our first time to go with them all summer. I couldn't believe it! The boys had a blast! It was fun!
On the way home we stopped by 7-11 to get some icees. Sadly, they were our first 7-11 icees of the summer! Haha.
Bentley finally had his 18 month well-child check up. Haha. We had to find new doctors because our old doctor doesn't take our new insurance. Bentley measured at the 80th percentile for height and the 45th for weight so he must have hit a growth spurt and has gotten a little longer.
That afternoon Beckett came over to play. They decided to play the most dangerous game they could on the trampoline...haha...
We had a lunch picnic one day. I love it when Bentley copies everything Kolton does. I think it is so cute. And then when Kolton is so sweet to take care of him and blow on his chicken for him when it is too hot. It is so sweet!
Saturday night Kolton had an end of the summer party with a few friends. They ate a bunch of junk food, played soccer and football, did a slip and slide, and jumped on the trampoline. They had a good time just being crazy!
Sunday, the 16th, Jeff and Vanessa had everyone over for dinner to celebrate London and Esme's birthdays. I thought it was so cute when all the grandkids had surrounded Brady's dad to see what videos he had on his phone.
This kid has decided he loves to drink the milk out of my cereal bowl when I'm done in the morning. It is too cute to watch!!
One morning I had some errands to run at the mall so I let the kids play and then stopped at the cookie store for them to get some cookies. They LOVED that!
We then went golfing at Heydey. Kolton also did a ropes course round. We were trying to pack in as much summer fun as we could in the last week of summer!
Kolton and I then went on a mommy/son date to his favorite restaurant--Ted's. What is funny is that just a few days before he went on a father/son date and chose Ted's that night as well. Haha. It was so sweet when we walked in...We walked to our table and he went and pulled the chair out for me to sit in. I got all teary eyed. What a sweet boy.
And then we have this little cutie too! :)
We did Kolton's father's blessing the morning of the first day of school because Brady had school the night before.
Here he is all handsome and ready for his first day of 2nd grade!!!
He was excited and nervous. (Notice his socks and shoes...Brady and I went to several stores looking for socks to match his new KDs because he had to have socks that match...Lucky for him, Brady found some!)
Kolton's teacher is Mrs. James. This is her second year at Briarwood and she seems pretty nice. Kolton was excited to see that there were about 3 other kids in his class from last year (one sits at his table!).
Oh he's so handsome and so stinking sweet!
Bentley had a really hard time with the fact that it was just he and I at home...no Daddy or Brother to play with. So I headed to the library for story time. He was pretty hesitant at first but perked up at the end when they did bubbles! He then loved playing afterwards. He especially loved this car.
Oh so happy when Brother got home that afternoon! They snuggled up together on the couch, watched a show, and ate some cookies that Jaycee had brought over for Kolton for his first day back to school.
I spent one morning cleaning out the garage and letting Bentley play around outside. He's becoming more attached to the outdoors and loves any time he gets out there. We then made some lunch and ate out on the blanket. It was a lot of fun!
My mom came to visit on Friday, the 21st!! Kolton was so super excited! It is always fun when Grandma comes to town!
We went and watched Brady play soccer Saturday morning. It was unseasonably cold that morning. And then Bentley ended up getting hurt so we dropped my mom and Kolton off at home and took Bentley to the doctor to see if his arm was broken. By the time we got called in, though, he was starting to act normal so they decided not to do an xray and send us on our way. He is still sometimes acting like it hurts, though, so I may have to take him in again and have it checked. We then grocery shopped, picked up some Chinese, and got a redbox movie. It was a fun and relaxing Saturday.
Sunday Kolton gave a talk in Primary. He did amazing and was so cute up there. My mom was excited she got to watch him! It was a the perfect week for him to be giving a talk! Then Brady stayed and counted tithing and we came home and made dinner.
Monday we all went on a walk with Grandma and then Kolton joined in on her exercises she did. It was cute to watch.
Tuesday Kolton stayed home from school so he could hang out with Grandma. We ran a bunch of errands and then made dinner for Brady's school. I am so glad my mom was there to help me because otherwise I don't think I would have gotten it done. We also took Kolton to the chiropractor. He has a torn muscle and his pelvis is twisted. We are hoping he will be better soon.
Wednesday we left right after Kolton got home from school and headed over to Heydey to go bowling. It was so fun! We had the whole place to ourselves and it was awesome! Bentley ended up beating us all! Haha.
That night Kolton, my mom, and I headed to Braums to pick up some ice cream after Brady mowed. Oh so good!
Thursday we picked up Chick fil a and headed to Kolton's school for lunch. We then checked him out early so he could spend an hour or so before we had to take her to the airport. It is always so sad to see her go home! Luckily she is coming again the end of October so we don't have to wait too long to hang out again.
Then that night we had Taylor and Maddi over for dinner since they were in town for their wedding reception here in Oklahoma. Kolton had fun playing with Taylor and Maddi. We then played a few card games which were fun.
Kolton is really excited that this year he gets real grades. This is his first paper he got back with a grade on it and it was a 100!
Friday night Maddi went through the temple to receive her endowment. It was great to meet Taylor's parents and we then headed to Braum's for some dessert. Brady and I had fun being on a date and it was fun being with everyone.
Saturday Brady played soccer again and the kids had a lot of fun as well! We then had Maddi's reception that night. I wish I could be there for the wedding this coming weekend but I'm glad I was able to celebrate with them here in OK.
Kolton has exercises he has to do for his muscle and on Sunday morning Bentley was doing them with him. It was cute! Brady and I subbed in Kolton's class so that was fun too!
We walked by nursery during singing time and spotted our cute little Bentley sitting so sweetly. He's getting so big!
Well I thought I'd do a quick little update since its been so long and just use all the pictures from my phone to tell the story of the last month! :)
