Kolton's 6th birthday!

We had Kolton's birthday party on Saturday, the 28th.  It was supposed to be the only nice day for a while so just a couple days before we planned it real quick and delivered invitations to his friends.  He invited the boys in his primary class and his cousins and then one friend from school and one friend from his basketball team.  It ended up being incredibly windy that day but the kids had fun.
We started out by giving them each a basketball (doubled as their party favor) and putting Thunder face stickers/tattoos on their cheeks.  Kolton was super excited about that!
(Left to right: Andrew Himes, Landon Brammer, Ethan Lancaster, London Brammer, Kolton Brammer, Pierson Brammer, Ryley Storey, Joseph Roberts)
We did a relay race and "pin the basketball in the hoop" and did a piñata.  Everyone got a couple turns to hit it and then we let Kolton hit it a bunch to break it.

We did cupcakes and drinks for the kids.  They each ate like two cupcakes and drank a few drinks.  Definitely got plenty of sugar!! :)

 This cutie is 6!! Crazy!

We took everyone inside to open presents to get a break from the cold wind.  Kolton ended up with an awesome pile of toys and clothes and such.  He was pretty excited!

We gave him one of our presents to him at his party...Two tickets to the Thunder game for him and Brady to go to!
Then everyone headed back outside to play some more.  They ended up doing races around the house and shooting hoops.

Kolton wanted me to take a picture of his stickers on his face.

After everyone left he opened his presents from us and from his grandparents.

Bentley was a little fussy and so Brady laid him on the boppy to put some pressure on his stomach and he fell asleep.  :) At this time in Bentley's life he was a little colicky and would scream and cry almost all evening.  His belly hurt and the only thing that would stop him from screaming was to take a bath so Brady took a bath nearly every night with him.  Tuesday nights were brutal for me because I couldn't put Bentley in the bath! Haha.  Luckily he has since grown out of it.
After presents we told Kolton he could pick wherever he wanted to go for dinner since his birthday was on Sunday.  He picked Olive Garden.
We told him it was his birthday so they brought him this little special treat.  Then, Brady ordered a big piece of cake and they shared that too.  Lucky birthday boy! :)

We had a lot of fun celebrating with him.  He is such an awesome little boy who is starting to not be so little anymore.  We just love him so much.
Sunday morning we made him some breakfast.  He got to pick what to eat for every meal.
Digging in to some ice cream.  :) He's too funny.
On Monday, the 30th, Sarah "Christiansen" Quinn was driving through Moore so she stopped by to say hello.  I was so excited to see her and meet her son, Leo.  He was too cute and we had a great time chatting and catching up! I'm lucky to have her as a friend!
On January 2nd Kolton and Brady headed to the Thunder game.  He was oh so excited!!
He wanted to park on the very top floor of the parking garage.  He thought that was pretty cool!
Brady said that Kolton whooped and hollered and stood up and cheered and everything.  He's so cute! We ended up loosing which is such a bummer but Kolton had fun nonetheless.

While they were at the game I went out with friends to go do Zumba, play laser tag, and get frozen yogurt.  Mark Himes watched Bentley for me.  I went with Jill Himes, Joni Widdison, and Sarah Landrum.  It was a lot of fun and good to get out with the girls!  That night was also the OU/Alabama bowl game.  It turned out AMAZING! We beat them and beat them good! It was exciting to see OU do so well!
January 3rd we had a dinner party and it was a blast! Brady's family was out of town taking Madison and Dylen out to UVU so Friday night we had the Himes, Widdison's, and Cassidy Lundberg over (her hubby had to work so he couldn't make it).  We had Mexican food and sat around and chatted.  It was so great and so much fun!
Then, on the 10th, we were excited to see that our brick was delivered at our house! Yay!
