The Rest of May

May 21st was a family day at Brady's work.  I had a church girls camp thing in the morning, I came home, and then we headed there.  It was fun to meet some of the people Brady works with and the kids had fun playing and eating.

They had a dunk tank so of course Kolton had to try his hand at it.  He dunked the person every time! They kept making him scoot back further and further every time he came to do it to try and make it harder for him.  Haha.

We left there and I went straight to a baby shower I was helping do the decorations for for Abby Bean.  I had a lot of fun hanging out there and showering her and her little girl with lots of fun new things!

Brady and the boys picked me up from there and we went to a birthday party for Rigdon, Landon, and Carter.  We drove to 3 different parks for that party because each one we came to was too busy or didn't have any tables available etc.  We finally ended up at the park in the Apples.  The kids had a blast playing together.  One of the gifts we got all the boys were these nerf football things.  The kids were all playing with them throwing them back and forth.  One time Kolton jumped up to get it (he was on a hill) and when he came down his knee hyper extended and he got hurt pretty bad.  In fact when it happened Brady's dad and Brady hopped up real quick to run over to him.  They even knew it was bad before Kolton even had a chance to react.  I felt bad for him.  But he felt a lot better even the next day so that was good.  It sure was a busy day, though!
May 24th Shawn and Mckenzie moved to Oklahoma.  Both her parents and my parents helped drive them here to Oklahoma with all their stuff and their cars.  We met them at their apartment when they got here.  They are living at the Greens so it is really close to us.  Kolton and Bentley were excited to see everyone.  Unfortunately their ac was broken so moving in was super hot and everyone was super sweaty.  Brady had school that night so he got there when everything was already brought up to the house.  Haha.  It was nice too because several guys from the ward came to help so that was nice.
On Wednesday Kolton's scooter came in the mail.  Brady had told Kolton towards the beginning of the school year that he would pay him $0.50 for every AR point he got.  This is what Kolton decided to buy with it after he put some in savings and paid tithing.  He was pretty excited for it.  Unfortunately it doesn't go as fast as a regular scooter so he hardly uses it.  I feel bad for him that he spent all his money on it and it doesn't even work all that well.
I had to take a picture of Kolton on his last day of school as a 2nd grader.  Crazy how time flies like that!

My mom came over that day to spend some time with us while Shawn and Mckenzie did some shopping with her parents.  Bentley of course loved the attention and all the playing time with Grandma.

We went up to the school at the end of the day to take pictures and say goodbye to everyone.

Kolton also wanted to take pictures with some of his friends.  He and Sutton.
 Bryson, Kolton, Deshawn, and Sutton.
 Then just Bryson and Kolton.
Deshawn and Kolton.  Deshawn is Kolton's favorite person to play basketball with at recess.  He says they are pretty evenly matched so he loves it.
That evening we had everyone over for dinner.  My parents, Shawn and Mckenzie, and her parents.  We grilled and ate lots of yummy food.  And....had to get another cake with more writing on it.  Haha.  It was fun.  We showed everyone our storm shelter and they thought that was pretty interesting.  Especially Mckenzie's parents.  A few people got in it and were just amazed that you'd get in there and wait out a tornado in it.  Haha.

The next morning we went swimming at the pool at my parent's hotel.  They stayed in the Embassy Suites down in Norman.  The boys had a blast.  Kolton had spent the night that night and was already swimming when we got there.  He was loving it.

Saturday morning we went down to their hotel and ate breakfast with them.  I don't know how "ok" that is but it was yummy food! Haha.
That afternoon we went to see the Jungle Book.  Kolton had been really wanting to see it so he was excited.  We dropped Bentley off at Jaycee and Adam's so Brady and I could sit and watch the movie and enjoy it.  I thought it was a good movie!
That evening we went swimming at their hotel pool again.  Bentley surprised me with how interested he was in the water.  Last summer he hated the water and it took forever to get him to do anything in it but this year he was much more brave and interested in trying.

We celebrated my birthday on Monday, the 30th.  My parents got me a bunch of my favorite treats and attached money to them all for me.  It was awesome!
We then met up with family and friends at a park in Norman in Brookhaven.  I love that park.  It has so much shade and hardly anyone goes to it.  It was a lot of fun.

We had to say goodbye to my parents that night, though, so that was sad.
After the party Shawn and Mckenzie and Levi and Stacy Heperi came over and watched the Thunder game with us.  We were winning when we left the park but then started losing once we started watching it and ended up losing.  It was very sad.

I don't remember when exactly this picture is from but one day Brady and I went to lunch with his parents and they decided to take Bentley home with them to play for a little bit.
