We started our Easter weekend by going down to Norman for their egg hunt.
Kolton had a lot of fun doing the moon bounces and looking at the Easter bunny. He was so excited for the egg hunt to begin! He ran out there in to the middle of the area and then started crying. It was so sad! I went out there and he said he was scared. I guess all the kids running and the firetruck sirens going off freaked him out or something? It was weird.

He ended up getting 3 eggs. :) That's
ok, though, because the eggs they pass out are GROSS!

Saturday we made dinosaur eggs.
Kolton kept asking all day when we could check on them and see if they were finished! So finally, after dinner we got them out and got to see how they turned out!

He loved it! He loved peeling them and he loved how they looked! Jurassic Park was on
tv that night too, so it ended up being a
dino themed night. ;)

Easter morning was so much fun! We got to sleep in too because we weren't going to our sacrament meeting because Kit was blessing Gracie in their ward. Anyway,
Kolton was SO excited to see if the Easter bunny came and SO excited to find his basket. He looked under the couch, in the shower, and in the fridge before finding it in the vacuum closet. I'm really sad because the only picture I have of him and his basket is totally blurry! :(

After he found his basket he got to find all the eggs the Easter bunny hid for him.

He counted them to make sure they were all found...

He got some dinosaur silly bands and loves them!

We went to primary in our ward because
Kolton had his first talk! He was so excited! Earlier in the week I sat down with him and we wrote it together. I'd show him a picture of Jesus and he'd tell me what it was about and that's what his talk was. It was precious!

It went like this:
Jesus is my friend.

Jesus was baptized by John (although he'd always say "to John" :)).

Jesus makes people feel better.

Jesus loves the children.

Jesus died so we can be forgiven (I added the forgiven part).

Jesus was resurrected (he usually said "came back to life") and we can be with our families forever.

He did an awesome job! When we got up to the podium he kept rubbing his face and not looking at anyone. I asked him if he was ready and he said "when I'm done rubbing my eyes." :) After about 30 seconds he was ready and did perfect! It was a proud mommy moment!
We went home after his talk for about an hour and watched
The Lamb of God and then left to drive down to Noble to go to Shana and Kit's ward for Gracie's blessing. Shana and Kit even spoke so that was great to be able to hear their talks! After church we went to the
Bittle's home for some dinner. It was GOOD! And
Kolton had an absolute blast playing with all the kids there. We had fun visiting with everyone!

I'm glad we had such a great Easter! Holidays are so much fun when you have kids to share it with! :)
