Trip to UTAH (Chloe's Blessing)

Kolton and I took a last minute trip to Utah on the 5th of July.  Kolton was oh so excited!! We were excited to see everyone and to especially meet my new niece, Chloe.
She was one month old when we got there and so cute!
Kolton just loved playing with Korver.  They were so cute together!

I love watching my sweet boy sleep!
Kolton and Korver kept everyone busy and loved all the attention! :)
On Sunday, Chloe was blessed.  We went to Derek and Lizzie's ward for the blessing and then came home and had a luncheon.  The blessing was wonderful and I'm so glad I was able to be there to see it!
Our family!
All the family that was at the blessing (minus my aunt and uncle Kim and Raleigh and their family--they didn't come to the luncheon).
Kolton and his goofy smiles.  Haha.

It was a special day and we had a good time spending time with everyone!

4th of July

So, June 20th, Brady felt our little baby move for the first time! He felt him move twice, so we knew it wasn't a fluke! So exciting for both of us, especially him!
On Brady's birthday he had a half day! So, we went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch.  We had been meaning to go as a combined birthday celebration for us, but never got around to it, so we went on his birthday! I love the red velvet cheesecake! So good! Then, that afternoon we met with a builder that we wanted to use, Brandon Waller, of Affinity Homes.  We sat down with him and went over the different floor plans he had and then he took us to a home that was almost finished for us to look around at some of the things he does in his homes.  We loved it and had pretty much decided we wanted to use him to build our home!! We are so excited to be able to build a home and start a new chapter in our lives! It was really exciting.
We went to the park/splash pad down in Norman with the Himes.  Andrew and Kolton were super proud of themselves for climbing up this big rock all the way to the top! :)
So I totally ruined Kolton's church pants and a bunch of other things while doing the laundry.  I didn't realize that Kolton had put crayons in his pocket during primary and so the next day while I did laundry they got washed and dried with all of our clothes.  I was so bummed! I read online that a certain cleaner will get it out that they sell at the dollar store so I ran there and got some and soaked the clothes in the washing machine with it but Kolton's pants were not salvageable.  :( Most other things got pretty clean, but some still just had to be thrown out. From now on I will ALWAYS check Kolton's pockets for crayons.  Haha.

Monday, July 1st, I had a doctor's appointment with Dr. Miller.  Baby's heartbeat was at 148 and I was measuring right at 20 weeks (which is what I was that day).
Tuesday, July 2nd, I had another doctor's appointment at the high risk clinic.  Heartbeat was at 153 bpm and he weighed 12 oz.  He was measuring 20 weeks and 2 days.  My placenta was still love but it wasn't over my cervix anymore.  My cervix was still measuring long at 4.5 cm and when they'd push on it it wouldn't open up or anything.  All of his body parts looked good and healthy.

Cute boys eating their lunch at the pool on the 3rd.  We were there for about an hour before it got PACKED!

July 4th we went to the movies together as a family! It was so fun! We went to go see Despicable Me 2.  Kolton was excited! It was a cute movie and we had a good time.  We got there super early because we thought it would fill up fast.  When we got there there was only a couple other families but about 5 or so minutes before the movie started, the theater became packed! I was glad we got there in time to get good seats.

After the movie we ate some lunch, bought fireworks, and then went to the mall and did a little shopping.  Once we were done there we went to the Himes for a cookout and some fireworks.  The kids played and we sat and watched.  The weather was super nice and wasn't too hot, so that was great! Kolton liked doing the sparklers and little roman candles by himself.

We also had a campfire and did roasted marshmallows and ate chocolate! MMmmm! :)
We didn't go anywhere to watch fireworks and just stayed home and doing our own fireworks all night and watching all the neighbor's fireworks around us.  We had a fun time hanging out as a family and with our friends.

More Summer!

So, we got Kolton a new trampoline since his got ruined during the tornado.  He loved loved loved playing on it! It was so nice, too, because it didn't make him all black like the old one did.  And it had an enclosure so that was nice.  I sat out back and watched him jump for about an hour a couple days after he and Brady had set it up.

He loves for me to take pictures of him doing tricks.  :)

Well, the trampoline lasted a week.  Haha.  A wind storm came and took it to our neighbors and bent the poles and tore it up.  So sad.  We told Kolton we'd have to wait to get another when we can anchor it down.
On the 13th of June Kolton and I went to go see one of the summer movies at the Warren together.  For the life of me I can't remember what it was, but it was fun to do together.  We got some candy and then bought the kids pack which comes with popcorn, drink, and candy and had a good time.  We got there way early so we could make sure and get seats because it always seems to get packed (which it did) and I was glad we got to hang out with each other before the movie started.  He is such a sweet boy.  I just love being his mom.

We took London and Pierson to the pool on the 12th of June with us.  They had fun running all around and being crazy.

On the 14th we met Vanessa and the boys at the Norman Skate Park to play.  Kolton brought his scooter and London and Pierson brought their skates.  Kolton thought it was fun going up and down the hills and stuff.  He biffed it once pretty hard but kept going, so that was good! After the skate park we went around to the other side of the park and let the boys play at the splash pad.

Brady and I decided this year instead of buying each other gifts for our birthdays we would get a shed.  We had spent all day one day working on it but hadn't quite finished it before we had to stop.  It too got damaged in the same wind storm that took our trampoline but Mark and Jill came over that night and Mark worked for like 4 hours with Brady fixing it and then finishing it so it wouldn't happen again.  There are still some bent pieces and some of the metal got torn, but it is standing and works so we were grateful!
Here's my belly on June 17th.  Kolton took the picture for me.  ;) I was 18 weeks.
On June 21st we took Renee and Andrew to the pool.  Renee played in the kid area while the boys did all their crazy swimming all over the place.  :)
On the 22nd, we got to hang out with the Foys.  They came in town for Jourdan Bean's mission farewell.  We met up around 4 in the afternoon and went to dinner and then went to their hotel for the kids to swim.  It was so great to see them! We had such a good time!

On June 23rd Kolton gave a talk in Primary.  He did so good, as always.  He is just so awesome.  Then that evening we went to the Brammers to celebrate Brady's birthday and his dad's birthday.  I can't get a normal picture of Brady ever I swear! Haha.  All well.  :) He was going to turn the big 3-0!
