On Monday, the 5th of December, we went to Andy Alligators for FHE. We hadn't been in a while and Kolton loves it so we thought we should go. As always Kolton had a blast and played tons of games. :) At the end of the night when we went to go turn in our tickets and pick prizes the guys were super nice. Kolton asked for a little monkey and the guy just grabbed a handful and gave it to him and then did the same with the ninjas. He thought that was pretty cool!

On Friday, the 9th, we were supposed to go see Santa. We're doing the countdown to Christmas again with the little boxes. Kolton opened that box that afternoon. He was SUPER excited to go see Santa!
Before we could go see Santa, though, we had a party to go to! Kolton was invited to a gingerbread house making party. When we got there all he wanted to do was play with their train but once he got started on making his house he didn't want to stop! He kept telling me "This is SO awesome, Mom!" I'm so glad we got to go and participate in that! Its fun to watch your kids have so much fun!
Kolton with his friend, Beckett.
At first I was putting the frosting on the house. He'd tell me where and I'd put some on so he could place the candy, but about half way through he decided he wanted to do it all by himself and he actually told me I should to stand on the other side of the table and just watch. :) He did really good at it, though!
The tootsie rolls are the wood.
That little snickers bar in the bottom right corner is the door. Other than those two things I think everything else is just "decoration." When he put the lifesaver on one side of the roof he told me he had to put one on the other side of the M&Ms so it would match. :)
After Brady got home from work and we ate dinner and stuff and then we headed to Bass Pro. Actually, first we drove to Brady's parents house to give them back their car that they were letting us use for the week. They then decided to go with us to go see Santa, so we rode with them and met the Foys up there.
First, though, lets look back at Kolton's Santa visits. :)
First year, in 2008, he screamed and screamed on Santa's lap. :)
The second year, in 2009, he made me hold him and was still a little nervous around him.
The third year, in 2010, he was super nervous but was a champ and sat on his lap and smiled.
And then this year he did awesome! As we waited in line Kolton got more and more excited. He had told me
that he wasn't going to be scared of Santa because he is nice, but he
might be just a "lil bit it" shy. He was a little hesitant as he walked
over to him when it was his turn, but as you can see, he LOVED sitting
on Santa's lap and telling him what he wanted for Christmas. He told
him he wanted trains and a motorcycle.
After visiting with Santa Kolton wanted to go play with the fun toys they have there. His favorite is the car track. He did it over and over and over. He'd finish his turn and get right back in line. The worker started making him let others cut in front of him that hadn't had a turn yet because he had done it so much. :)
The kids had fun playing with everything and seeing the fish and Brady had fun buying his fudge he buys every year we go, so I think everyone had a good time!
