Enjoying the Nice Weather

On Monday, the 2nd, we went over to the Brammers to say good bye to Jaycee and Adam and Landon who were leaving the next day to go back to Utah.  Kolton has recently realized that Grandpa is willing to rub him and so he sat down right next to him and asked him to rub his back and then went and got the head thing for him to use.  :)
Jaycee and Madison had bought some masks so I joined in and we all did our faces.  I wish I did these more often--my face feels so good afterwards! I used to do them at least once a week, usually twice, whenever I was young and single but just don't take the time anymore to do them.  It was fun! Madison's totally smelled like chocolate!
Kolton asked for a snack, so we made popcorn and Adam taught him how to catch them in his mouth.  I don't know how many actually made it in and how many fell on the floor but they had a good time!
It was great to have them in town and be able to see them and Landon.
On Wednesday I took Kolton to a gymnastics class in Norman.  Bart Conner will let you sit in on a lesson to try it out so I had signed him up for one on Wednesday morning because the lady said that there were boys in that class. Turns out he was the only boy but he didn't care.  He still had fun.  It didn't seem worth it to me to put him in it (even though he loved it) so we're just going to have to wait until soccer starts.  :) We went that morning to the party store as well to get him some things for his party. We bought him a special hat for his party so he could be the captain! :)
(The stamps on his hands are from gymnastics.  At the end they put a stamp on each hand and on each leg.)
It was so nice outside that whole week! We played outside a ton! Kolton got a football in the mail one day (one time when Brady bought oil to change the oil in his car there was a rebate for a free football so we sent it in and it came for Kolton!).  He thought it was so cool that he got his own big football in the mail.  He even said to us "The mailman is so nice to bring me a football!"

One of his favorite things to do is have someone hold the ball for him to kick it.  We're hoping he'll be the kicker for OU one day and then finally they'll have a good kicker! ;)
We went to the Foys on Friday morning for me to watch her kids while she went to fix her tire and run a couple of errands.  I worked on some things for Kolton's birthday party (that was the next day) and watched the kids play.  We went outside for about 45 minutes and they rode bikes, scooters, played basketball and soccer, and tennis.
After Brittney got home Grandpa Brammer called and asked what we were doing.  Him and Grandma were going to the park and wanted Kolton to come with them since it was so nice outside.  We all ended up going with them to Little River park.  Kolton rode his bike, Kade rode his scooter, and Emery rode in the push car around the park after we stopped and played some.
We've tried really hard to take advantage of these warm days in January! Its been nice to be able to let Kolton go out and run around and enjoy the fresh air!
