We decided to go on an impromptu camping trip the weekend of the 14-15th. Landon had a soccer game Saturday morning so they had to go somewhere close. Originally they were going to go to Thunderbird but last minute they decided to go to Draper. We tagged along with them as well as Brady's parents and Shawn and Mckenzie. Despite getting in trouble for having a camp fire (I guess you aren't allowed to there...what kind of camp site is that??! Also, the fire rings were already there so that was weird) it was fun! Haha. It was insanely windy that night though! Like SUPER windy! We ended up just packing up first thing in the morning and heading home though so that was a bummer. Good memories for the kids though.
Once we got home and unloaded all the camping gear we headed out to go build Brady's blind at the blind spot he was drawn for. Brady's parents came with us and helped. It turned out pretty good and the boys had fun helping us gather sticks and stuff.
We also went to the Overholser blind and while we were there we had an accident with Brady's phone. It was accidentally shut in his tailgate. It totally bent it and just completely jacked it. It was bad. Haha.
