Second half of September

With all of Kolton's sports practices sometimes things get crazy.  On Thursday he had basketball practice and then soccer practice right afterwards.  We leave for basketball at like 4:40 so once he gets home he has to hurry and eat a snack and pack up all his stuff for both basketball and soccer and then we head out  the door.  Well one week he forgot his soccer socks so he had to just wear his basketball socks with his shin guards.  He was a little embarrassed at first but got over it pretty quick once he realized it wasn't really that big of a deal.

These pictures of the boys sleeping make me laugh because Kolton was the only one actually sleeping.  When Bentley saw me take a picture of Kolton who had fallen asleep he ran and got on the couch and pretended to be asleep in the exact same position as Kolton so I could take a picture.  It was too funny.

The night of the 23rd we brought our bed out into the living room and watched a movie with the boys and ate treats.  We made a couple different types of smores and had a blast.  Honestly, the smores in the oven were almost better than the real deal over a campfire! Bentley just really liked the "choclolate."

Kolton had his first soccer game of the season on the 24th and did awesome as usual! His team won 9-0 and he assisted on more than half of those!

So Bentley pretty much always has a cold I feel like.  He got 2 colds in exactly 3 weeks.  When a cold lasts 7-10 days that means he only gets a week inbetween before he starts to get another one.  It is crazy.  They come on super fast too! He'll go from a cough a couple times one night to constant coughing and trouble breathing because his lungs and airway tighten up by the next afternoon.  He started this cold on Saturday night and was bad Sunday morning.  He was on nap number one already Monday at 10:00 in the morning.  But that is what coughing all night will do to you.
We decided to take down Bentley's crib Monday night and give him a big boy bed.  We took Kolton's bunk beds apart and gave Bentley the top bunk.  He loved that he had a big bed!
It made Kolton's room look way bigger and more open too since he didn't have the top bunk in there anymore.
We went to Kolton's school for book fair night and to eat pizza and hang out.  They had someone dressed up as Clifford and Bentley thought it was so cool.  He loves mascots.
I gave all the boys haircuts the morning of the 28th.  The top of Kolton's hair was super long! Had to take a picture! Haha.
Cleaning the toilet is Bentley's favorite chore to help me with.  He loves to get all the cleaner off of the sides of the toilet.
He is also going through a stage or point in his life where he always needs Brady.  Any time he is sad or gets hurt or whatever he will just sit there and cry for Brady.  I videoed him one time and it was so sad and yet so cute.  He was crying saying "I want Daddy right now....Daddy...Daddy..." So precious.
The 28th was also a Wednesday so I wore my shirt to show support to JD.  I hate posting selfies but in an effort to show support to him I do.  I had been cleaning all day and didn't get to get ready until the afternoon which I hate doing.  Haha. So, my selfie was of me brushing my teeth at 3:30 in the afternoon.  Haha.
I love love love watching my kids sleep.  Nothing more precious or peaceful.  It is just so crazy to me, though, that my little boy is in such a big bed!
Thursday night it was Jorge's birthday party at HeyDey.  Kolton was excited to go to it and came home totally hyped up on sugar and not ready to go to bed at all! Haha.
The 30th was picture day at Kolton's school.  He looked so dang handsome.  I love that he chose to wear the same outfit he wore to "Back to School" night even though he said he hated it and was so mad that I had made him wear it.  Must not have been so bad.  Haha.

It was also Donuts with Dads that morning so Brady headed to school with Kolton a little early so they could hit up the donuts and hang out a little before school.
We then decided to surprise Kolton and bring him lunch that day since Brady had it off.  Look at my three boys! They are just the most handsome!! I love them so much.
After lunch we headed over to the Station for Brady to fill out some paperwork to be a basketball coach.  We decided to sign Kolton up for basketball through the Station as well so he could get some playing time and more game time.
