Bentley made his bed all by himself and was so proud that he wanted to take a picture with it. It was cute! And he wanted us to show Grandma and Grandpa so we sent a picture to them.
He also wanted a picture with his new picture on the wall with all his favorite TV show characters in it.
Took Bentley to the library for storytime and they had these super cute snowflake crafts for the kids. I loved them and he loved gluing all the little sequins on it!
My parents came to town on the 12th of January for Shawn's whitecoat ceremony (that ended up getting canceled because of an ice storm that was supposed to come but then never did). So, the boys got to go swimming in Grandma and Grandpa's hotel pool. They were so excited and had such a great time!
Shawn and Mckenzie came for a little bit and swam with them too!
Kolton and Shawn tried a ton of times to get Kolton on Shawn's back to act like he was surfing. They finally were able to do it a few times successfully!
My mom also brought some piano books with her to teach Kolton how to play the piano. He loved it!
Bentley wanted in on the fun as well so she had him play some notes too. :)
Sunday morning I had to go to another ward for their ward conference and Brady had to go to meetings before church so my parents came over and watched the boys and got them ready for church for us.
My Dad flew back to Utah on Sunday afternoon but my mom stayed until Tuesday. On Monday there wasn't any school so we went to Jumpzone. Oh My. That place was packed!! And with Bentley's personality that made it hard for him to fully enjoy it but he did have moments where he was having a blast. Kolton of course was running around and loving it!
Tuesday we took the boys to HeyDey and let them play some arcade games and do a game of golf. Kolton also did a laser tag game I believe.
Brady came home in time to go with us to take Mom to the airport for her flight that afternoon. It was so great to have my parents come to visit! Glad Shawn had a planned whitecoat ceremony. Haha.
Bentley had his first dentist appointment on Wednesday morning. He did so good and I was super impressed with how cooperative he was!!
Thursday (the 19th) there was an assembly at Kolton's school for the honor roll. I actually got pretty good seats but Bentley was acting up and so I had to take him out and sit in the hall and wait until it was Kolton's class' turn. He didn't like all the clapping and kept telling people to stop. It was embarrassing.
I snuck in the back right before Kolton's class but then I was so far away it was hard to get a good picture. Haha.
But here he is afterwards with his Superintendent's Honor Roll certificate for all As in both 9 weeks last semester.
We also got a picture of him with his buddy, DJ Denson, who also got Superintendent's Honor Roll. So proud of those boys.
