First week of October

The beginning of October Jaycee invited Bentley and I to go to the Norman Library to participate in their interactive play they have set up for babies.  Bentley had a lot of fun and especially loved hitting the golf tees into the Styrofoam.

Pierson got baptized on October 2nd and Kolton said the opening prayer, I led the music, and Brady gave a talk.  It was so great to be able to be there for his special day and see him make that covenant.  We had a great time and enjoyed the donuts afterwards!

Bentley has just recently started sitting down in his baths.  He would refuse to before.  I'm not sure why other than the fact that he would say it was "hot" even though the water would be no where near hot.  Haha.

I have a picture very similar to this one of Kolton eating an apple at around this same age.  I love that I got one of Bentley too.  He eats those things to the core and beyond.  Haha.

School Pictures

Friday, October 2nd, Kolton had his school pictures.  He picked out his outfit all on his own and looked so cute! He is caring more and more (and yet less and less if that's possible) about how he looks.  Like he won't got to school now without his hair fixed.  Even if it means leaving the house a minute or two after he'd like.  His hair has got to be fixed.  :) I love it.  Even though he picked out a super cute outfit for picture day, his favorite thing to wear is basketball shorts and Nike shirts.  Like every day.

Kolton got Student of the Month! And we are Pregnant!

Sometimes Bentley and I got meet Brady for lunch.  I don't remember why we did on this day but it was fun and we loved it.  It is always nice to see Brady during the day sometimes.  And getting to eat a lunch out is always fun too!
Kolton got Student of the Month for the first month of school again!! He is just amazing.  I didn't tell him when his teacher told me because I didn't know if it was supposed to be a surprise or what.  So when he saw me at the Grizzly Growl he was pretty surprised.  We are so proud of him and how great he is.  Both with his school work and his behavior.  He's a sweet, sweet boy.

The last Sunday in September we found out we were pregnant!! So exciting! We sent the picture of the pregnancy test to our families and told them.  We were pretty excited.
That day was also Kolton's Primary Program.  He did great and said his part perfectly.  I always love watching him sing and I always get teary eyed at least once just full of so much love for that kid.

His part was "Hebrews 11:1 states 'Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.' My faith in Jesus Christ is strengthened when I obey."

Bentley was walking around holding a toy lion in a blanket pretending it was his baby.  It was totally random and so funny.  He was also going through a phase where he'd bring you these baby receiving blankets and say "baby", turn his back to you, and expect you to wrap him up in the blanket and hold him like a baby.  Then he would fake whine and you would have to "sshhh" him and tell him it was ok.  It was funny.

For FHE we went bowling at HeyDey.  When my mom was here the building lost power while we were bowling and it wouldn't work after that so the manager gave us a free pass to come back so we decided to use it that night.  We invited the Widdisons to join us.  It was a lot of fun! We even ordered some dessert and just had a good time.

Bentley is starting to get interested in coloring.  He will come up to you and say "cowah?"  So cute.

Bubbles

Late in September Bentley and I were playing outside one afternoon.  He saw the container of bubbles and really wanted to try it so I got it out and he actually did really well!! He was able to get several bubbles going in one blow! It was awesome! He was so proud of himself.

He accidentally got some in his mouth and he was not a fan.  Haha.  Poor kid.
Gosh he is just so cute.  I know I have pictures that look almost identical in here but they each show a slightly different perspective or aspect of his personality and I love them all.

He got so messy!! Before he was blowing bubbles he had been drawing on the driveway with chalk and so then with the drips from the bubbles his hands and face just looked filthy! He was having a blast, though.  He loves to be doing anything outside!
