Oh my heavens! Here's a TON of pictures ranging from the end of September until now!
On the 23rd of September Kolton and I went to a parade. A friend texted me and asked if I wanted to go and I'm glad she did otherwise I wouldn't have known it was happening! Kolton had a lot of fun collecting candy and watching all the people go by. There were also two little girls (about 1 year and a half old) that were with us and Kolton did a great job getting candy for them too. If he was only able to pick up one piece he got concerned because then there wasn't enough pieces for everyone to have. He was so sweet! When we got home he wanted to line up all his candy on the couch to see just how many pieces he got. ;)
Then like a week later we went to the park with Kashton and we brought Kade with us. We went to the Southlakes park. Kolton loves the big slides there. We had a picnic and the kids played for like 2 hours! They had a blast!

A couple of days before conference Kolton got another package in the mail. He was pretty stoked! With everything he pulled out he got super excited!

Grandma and Grandpa Moffett sent him some halloween and church things for him to play with. I decided he could use them during conference that following weekend. My mom was also sweet and sent me the "Forget Me Not" WillowTree statue to remember President Uchtdorf's talk he gave the previous Saturday during the General Relief Society broadcast.


Sunday morning we ate cinnamon rolls while we watched conference. Yes, I have a picture of food on my blog, but they were SO yummy I had to take a picture to remember! ;)

With the weather cooling down some I've tried to let Kolton play outside more. He loves it of course. He tells me that he's "learning lots" while he plays outside and that he's a "good learner." :) Like one day, he ran from the street to the front door and told me he took a short cut. He then asked me if I knew what that meant and I said "what?" and he told me that it means a faster and shorter way and he was so proud that he knew that. :)

He's just too adorable! One day while eating he said, "Mom! Its so yummy I can already see my eyes!" :) I love how kids get words mixed up sometimes. Too cute!

Probably one of Kolton's favorite things about playing outside is that when he comes in he gets to wash his feet in the kitchen sink and play with the sprayer. ;) He gets excited every time!


On Friday, October 14th, Kolton and I went with the Foys to the zoo and the science museum. Kolton was super excited!

He always asks to see the tiger and then he gets nervous when we get there. I asked him to let me take a picture of him with the tiger and he slowly went over there and watched it for a minute to see that he was sleeping. He turned around and told me it was sleeping and asked if it would wake up. I told him no so he quickly "smiled" so I could take his picture with it. After I was done these two girls came running up and screaming and the tiger sat it's head up and looked at us. Kolton bolted to Brittney's stroller and hid behind it. :) I like his nervous little smile!

After the zoo we walked over to the science museum.
Kolton's favorite parts are the gymnastics place upstairs and the TRAINS! We watched the trains twice! Once before lunch and once after. Each time was for a good 20-30 minutes! He loves to chase them and watch them as they follow the track. And their lines! Oh how he loves their lines! ;)



Kolton had another soccer game on Saturday. Brady had to work so he didn't get to go. ;( Kolton played so well and had a blast! He scored 5 goals and blocked one even! All of my pictures are blue which makes me sad (I forgot to change the setting) but I'm including them anyway.
This first picture is where he blocked the goal that the other team had shot. He barely stops it in time before it crosses the line. He then turned it around and took it down the field.

I love his expressions after he scores! On Saturday he was getting so excited!

This was after he scored his 5th goal and he was pretty excited to tell me how many he'd scored as you can tell from the look on his face!
I love watching him play and I'm happy that he's excited to play as well! This weekend he doesn't have a game because it's fall break but then the next Saturday he does and Grandma Moffett and Cambrea will be here to see it!

The Oklahoma State Fair

We went to the Oklahoma State Fair on September 19th. We bought $40 worth of tickets for Kolton to ride rides with. He was SO excited! Brady ended up getting off work early that day, so we headed up there at about 4:30. We ate yummy food (corndogs, chicken on a stick, bbq wings (actually, those were not that yummy), fries, cheesecake...and more I just can't remember it all...) and walked around at first. Then, I took Kolton on his first ride that he was barely tall enough for. The whole time we were riding he just kept laughing and laughing and yelling "woo-hoo." It was too cute. I on the other hand kept having these little wet things land on me and I was totally grossed out the whole time thinking someone was spitting in front of me and I was getting it all over. Turns out they were just bubbles from a ride next to ours, but I didn't know that until afterwards so that's all I could think about while riding. Well, that and listening to Kolton laugh. ;)

He then just ran around from ride to ride getting excited for each one.



We got a couple root beer jugs throughout the night to quench our thirst.

Then we sat down in front of a building to wait for the Foys. They were in the park trying to find us so we decided to sit still so we wouldn't miss them. Brady went to go get some churros and Kolton met a new friend and played in the bubbles with him.
We finally found the Foys and the boys were ready to ride!

As we were walking at one point Kolton stepped in front of Brittney and was hit by the stroller on accident. He fell down right as an employee was walking by who reached down and gave him a necklace to feel better. He was pretty excited to have gotten such a "special prize." :)



Kolton's very favorite ride there was the rollercoaster. He rode it 3 or 4 times.

Yes, this is blurry, but he looks so happy as he's riding it. He seriously had a blast.

At the end of the night we went through one of the mazes a couple of times. Its a glass maze that leads you to stairs and then down a slide. Kolton had fun.


It took us a while to find the exit that we came in at so Kolton got tired and hitched a ride on Brady's shoulders and then mine a little later. He's lucky we love him so much!
Brady and I had so much fun watching Kolton enjoy himself! I've been with Kolton to Lagoon a couple times but the last time Brady went with him was when Kolton was about 6 months old, so he's never been able to watch Kolton ride rides. He loved seeing his excitement. Brady and I had a lot of fun hanging out with our little family and our friends, the Foys, and eating yummy food. It was such a good Monday evening!

This video is from the fair. It makes me laugh when about half way through Kolton says "That tickles my belly" and then reaches over and tickles Kade's cheek. Haha.

So, it is time for me to play a little catch up on the blogging. I'm a month behind! Oh goodness!
One morning after all the chores were done, Kolton and I decided to build a fort. He really had no idea what to do, so I helped him out. We just got a few chairs and a few sheets and blankets and built one in the living room in front of the tv like I did as a kid and then we ate snacks and lunch in it and played games and read books and watched shows. He thought it was SUPER cool! While eating our grilled cheese sandwiches in the fort, he leaned over to me and said "Mom, you're the best mom!" Gotta love it! On either September 15th or September 16th Kolton got a package in the mail from my family. They had recently gotten back from a vacation in California and had got some things for Kolton while there. We brought the package inside and I let him look at who it was too. He recognized his name and got really excited. I told him it was from Utah and then he knew it was from Grandma and Grandpa Moffett. As he pulled each thing out of the package he got more and more excited. After a couple things he said, "Mom! They sent me lots of stuff! There's more and more and more!" He was really excited to play the Disneyland Candyland.

His favorite treat in there was a Mickey Mouse sucker. He LOVED it! He also thought the toast press was pretty cool. I had no idea what that was, so I thought it was cool too! Every time we make toast he has to use it. :)


In the package there was also a letter telling Kolton that Grandma had sent pictures of them on their vacation. So we ran to the computer and pulled all the pictures up. He thought it was pretty cool that they got to see all the characters.

Kolton's second soccer game was so much fun! He scored I think 3 goals and had a blast. He also thought it was super exciting that his primary teacher, Sis. Maruska, came to watch him and her great nephew, Ethan, who is on Kolton's team. She cheered and cheered for Kolton the whole time. He sure is lucky to have her as his teacher.

After the game that week, they took team pictures. I decided to be cheap and not spend twenty bucks on a picture and took one myself. :)
