Campfire

On Friday night we had a campfire at the Grandma and Grandpa Brammer's.  We had to go late to it because we were waiting for Mia's owners to come pick her up.  (We dog sat a great dane from Sunday to Friday while her owners were on vacation.) They got there at about 6:15 or so and then we headed to the Brammers at 6:30ish.  We got there in time to do s'mores.  I was so excited.  I love campfires and s'mores!
Kolton is just so adorable!
He had a hard time getting his mouth around the s'more and ended up giving up after a few tries.
I then would find him sneaking chocolate bars and just eating those plain instead.

These boys had so much fun.  They loved that they could just run around and have a good time.  They played chase and played with the bikes.

After it got dark and we were just sitting around the campfire the boys wanted to tell scary stories.  Kolton told his first story to Brady.  It went something like this...
"Once there was a little boy who had a dream.  He was scared of monsters. In his dream there was an alligator.  The alligator was mean. But then there was a dinosaur.  The dinosaur ate the alligator.  Then the boy was scared of the dinosaur.  But the dinosaur couldn't run because he ate the alligator.  The end."
Grandpa Brammer also told a story.  As he was telling his story Jeff had snuck up behind the boys and at one point he roared at them and they all screamed.  London apparently has faster reflexes than Kolton and Pierson because this is when Jeff screamed and London is the only one reacting to it at first.  Haha.

Grandma told a story too and had the boys come up and help her.
All the boys ended up telling at least one story to all of us.  They were hilarious!
We had a really good time sitting around the campfire and I'm glad we were able to do it!
