Pumpkin Patch

Saturday morning Shawn surprised us by being there! I kept pestering him to come back home for the weekend so we could see him again and he kept saying he couldn't and then I guess decided Friday night to come.  He got home at like 2 in the morning! We were excited to see him Saturday morning.  Dad made everyone breakfast.  It was yummy!
After everyone got ready for the day we went to go on a hayride at a local nursery.  It was a pretty long hayride! They had several tractors going so you would ride one out to the pumpkin patch and then get in line and ride another one back.  So, you could take as long or a little time at the pumpkin patch as you wanted.  While we were waiting in line a kid (about 12) got off the tractor with his pumpkin and just started throwing up all over the parking lot.  I don't know where his family was because he was all alone there puking his guts out.  It was gross and sad all at the same time.  We thought we found his parents and mom went running after them to tell them but it wasn't his family.  Anyway, a few minutes after that it was our turn to go on the hayride.

I tried to take everyone's picture but as you can see it was pretty bright.  Haha.

Kolton had fun looking around at the pumpkins.  Every kid under the age of 12 could take a pumpkin.

Him and his faces...Seriously he did it a LOT while we were in Utah.
This pumpkin is the one he chose.  And it was super heavy.  Can you tell he's struggling to keep a hold of it?
Grandpa and Shawn were ready to take it from him if it got too heavy.  :)

After the pumpkin patch we went home and relaxed for a little bit. Then Cam, Shawn, Kolton and I went to go take pictures of them.  We had quite the experience! It was fun!
After that we headed to Jeremy and Sonja's house for dinner.  Kim and Raleigh and their family were there as well.  It was fun! Kolton was a little shy at first but he ended up playing with my cousins and having a good time.  I enjoyed seeing everyone too and enjoyed some good laughs.  :)
