Christmas Eve was so great! We slowly got ready for the day and then we started baking and cooking. The boys helped me make some of the treats we were taking to Brady's parent's house the next day. They unwrapped all the hugs and put them on the pretzels for me which was so nice! I hate that part. Haha.
Shawn and Mckenzie came over for dinner. We had a candlelight ham dinner with rolls, potatoes, fruit salad, deviled eggs, green bean casserole, and grinch punch. It was absolutely delicious! After dinner was cleaned up we all opened up our Christmas Eve presents.
Bentley got Paw Patrol pajamas, I got a new hoodie, Kolton got a Kyrie t-shirt and some basketball shorts, and Brady got some Nike pajama pants. Shawn and Mckenzie got pajamas too but wouldn't let me take their picture. Haha.
After that we made sugar cookies. The boys like cutting them out and decorating them and then eating them! Haha.
The cookies were actually pretty delicious! And we almost ate them all before we remembered we needed one for Santa! Haha. As we were finishing up the cookies we got to facetime with my family which was fun. The boys loved it! Shawn and Mckenzie stayed until like 8:30 or 9 I think and then they headed home and we put the boys to bed after they laid out the cookie and milk for Santa as well as some carrots for the reindeer. They were so excited for Christmas the next morning!!
